An 80-year-old man was killed and 4 others sustained accidents in a combat over division of land in in Maharashtra’s Latur district, police mentioned on Monday.
Panchappa Dhappadhule was attacked and killed by his son Nagnath on Sunday, which mockingly was Father’s Day, an official mentioned.
“Nagnath and his brother Virnath would quarrel over land affairs and needed a division of property. The 2 brothers had a combat on Saturday which was resolved by villagers. On Sunday, Nagnath and his sons attacked members of Virnath’s home. Three individuals have been injured whereas Panchappa Dhappadhule died,” he mentioned.
One particular person has been arrested to this point and a number of other others are on the run after a homicide case was registered, he added.
