A 10-year-old boy, who was kidnapped from a village in Rajasthan earlier this week, was rescued from Guna district in Madhya Pradesh by police and one individual was arrested, an official mentioned on Saturday.

The boy, recognized as Rameshwar Lodha, was kidnapped from his residence in Baran district on the intervening night time of Monday and Tuesday, the police mentioned.

The accused subsequent day demanded a ransom of Rs 5 lakh from Lodha’s household, Baran SP Ravi Sabharwal mentioned.
