A newly-married couple who has been on the forefront of voluntary work through the ongoing pandemic, scaled-down their wedding ceremony bills to used the cash to fund their noble enterprise of donating 50 beds to a COVID-19 care centre in Vasai, Maharashtra.
The couple, Eric Lobo and Merlin Tuscano who bought married on June 20 on the native church proceeded proper after their ceremony to an isolation centre to donate beds, mattress and pillows.
The couple stated, “For the reason that starting of lockdown, now we have been engaged on initiatives like arranging for trains for migrant staff and group kitchens. We talked to the Income Inspector and Sub Division officer of the district concerning the necessities of the COVID-19 centres and determined to pare down on the cash we are going to spend on the marriage and as an alternative contribute to the covid care centre.”
“We can even be donating oxygen cylinders to the centre,” stated Merlin.
