Pakistani troops on Saturday shelled mortars alongside the Line of Management in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district, drawing a robust retaliation from the Indian Military, a defence spokesperson mentioned.
There are not any fast report of any casualty, he mentioned.
“At about 6:45 PM, Pakistan initiated an unprovoked ceasefire violation by firing with small arms and shelling mortars alongside LoC in Nowshera sector. The Military is retaliating befittingly,” the spokesperson mentioned.
The cross-border shelling was happening when final studies have been acquired, he added.
